Terms of Service
Last updated 27 August 2026
These terms govern use of Saxalar. By connecting a Microsoft 365 tenant or signing in, the organisation doing so agrees to them.
What the service does
Saxalar reads configuration and activity data from connected Microsoft 365 tenants, analyses it for security problems, and presents findings, reports, and recommendations. It is a read-only monitoring service. It does not change your Microsoft 365 configuration, and it is not a substitute for your own security controls.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure the person granting access is authorised to do so for that tenant.
- Keep account credentials secure and tell us promptly if an account is compromised.
- Grant Saxalar access only to tenants your organisation is entitled to monitor.
- Give each person only the access within Saxalar that their role requires.
What we will and will not do
We will read only what the permissions you granted allow, and only for the purpose of providing the service. We will not sell your data or use it for advertising. We will not use it to train AI models.
We will not make changes to your Microsoft 365 environment. Where Saxalar recommends a remediation, carrying it out remains your decision and your action.
Findings are advice, not guarantees
Saxalar reports what it observes and applies detection rules to it. It cannot guarantee that it will detect every security problem, and a clean result is not proof that an environment is secure. Findings, risk scores, and AI-generated explanations are informational. Decisions about your environment remain yours.
Cost and licence figures are estimates based on the pricing information available to the service. Where a price is unknown, Saxalar reports it as unknown rather than as zero — but estimates should not be relied on as the sole basis for a purchasing decision.
Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not currently commit to a specific uptime level. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of failures in services it depends on — including Microsoft 365 itself. If your organisation requires a service level commitment, contact us before relying on Saxalar for time-critical work.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using Saxalar at any time by withdrawing consent in your Microsoft 365 tenant or removing the tenant. Collection stops immediately, and removing a tenant deletes the data collected for it.
We may suspend access where use threatens the security or integrity of the service, or where an account is being used unlawfully. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you first.
Liability
Saxalar is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a security incident that Saxalar did not detect. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to organisation administrators, and the date at the top of this page will change.
